This was absolutely lovely! I don't know what else I can say about it that everyone else hasn't said already. The Doctor and Cameca connected so well for two people who only have a vague connection and only from one side. The language was very well suited for the story, too, giving it a very serene, timeless feeling.

I am also very much inspired by your revelations on the reason why Ten went on the farewell tour. It's very insightful, and I hope you don't if I use the idea in my own fic. I've been working on a story about the tour, and it would be a great addition to part of it.
