Minor Characters Fest - Summer Mini-Round

As this year's round wound up with an awful lot of us (your mod included) being hit by Darth Real Life, I did promise that I would try and think about some sort of bonus round later in the year, so here it is!

The Doctor Who Minor Characters Fest - Mini Round #1- Sat 23rd July - Sat 13th August

For this mini-fest, all fanworks will be included, not just fics and the only minimum requirements will be that it a) contains a Whoniverse Minor Character (see the Guidelines) and b) is above 50 words if fic/meta/recs/podfics etc., 3+ icons for a set, 2+ gifs for a set, 3+ songs for a fanmix. No upper limits. (If you are combining with some other challenge/fest/comm, don't forget you'll still need to meet their requirements!) Finishing WIPs for the fest is fine, reposting already completed and posted fanworks is not. (New podfic of existing fic is of course absolutely okay.) Please do still post your fanworks to the AO3 Collection.

So, at the end of this month we will celebrate the lesser known corners of the Whoniverse with fic, meta, rec sets, podfic, gif sets, icons, fanart, fan crafts, vids or vidlets, fanmixes, manifestos/love posts, podcasts, picspams, or pretty much anything else you can come up with. All unclaimed prompts from previous rounds will be up for grabs if you want to use them. (See here and here.)

You don't need to claim a prompt or state a character this once (although DO ask if you have any doubts about a character's eligibility, and you are more than welcome to fill unclaimed prompts), just sign-up for one of the below dates and post something shiny on it:

I will put up a new prompt post presently, which will remain open (as will sign-ups) until the fest closes on 13th August. (So if you want to leave any particular multi-media suggestions/prompts/requests, you will be able to!)

This is the prompt post for the mini round for Summer 2016! (23rd July-13th August 2016).

Please feel free to also claim prompts from this year's round proper or from the previous year's round - or use this post to highlight a previous prompt!

Remember that for this special mini round ALL fanworks are welcome, so prompts for media other than fic will be more than welcome - so do also leave suggestions for any art, icons, podfic, fanmixes, vid(lets), meta, gifs, rec sets, picspams, manifestos/love posts that you would like to see for any Whoniverse minor characters.

Please note: You don't have to be taking part to leave a prompt and no one is obliged to claim a prompt to take part, nor is it an exchange - if you leave a prompt the creator claiming it may interpret it in any way they choose.

Prompts will be struck out as claimed. You may initially claim up to two prompts at one time. Once you complete at least one fic for the fest, you may then claim another if you wish to. I'd like to encourage variety, so only one claim per prompt, please. You may claim your own prompt.

1. Classic Who minor characters gifs or gifsets - I'm envious of people with proper gif-making skills & would love to see any gif(set)s focusing on the minor characters of Classic Who that anyone feels inspired to make.

2. Sam Smith - whatever happened to him after the Eye of Hades revived him?

3. Anything with Shona McCullough.

4. How Courtney Woods eventually became President of the United States.

5. Any Tivolian - life on Tivoli.

6. Professor Sondergaard - beads.
