Schedule:

* Leaving prompts - open now until posting begins. (Everyone is welcome to leave prompts at the Prompt Post!)
* Sign-ups/prompt-claiming - Sat 14th February 2015 (until ficathon closes).
* Ficathon opens for posting - Sat 14th March 2015
* Ficathon closes - Sat 11th April 2015

How to sign up
(Sign-ups open Sat 14th Feb- Fri 10th April)

1. Choose a date from the below list. Try to go for empty dates, if you can, so we get a good spread across the month, but two or three people can claim the same date.

2. If you would like to write from a prompt, choose one from the Prompt Post. (Only one claim per prompt if possible, please). You do not have to claim a prompt to play.

3. Comment to this post with your date, username (for wherever you're planning to post the fic), the prompt you've chosen and/or the minor character(s) you're going to be focusing on.

4. Congratulations! You're signed up!

You can sign up for up to two fics initially - simply choose a second date/prompt etc., and repeat the process. (If you would like to write even more, you can claim a third once you have posted your first fic. & so on.)



Posting
(Posting: Sat 14th March - Sat 11th April)

You must either post the fic (under a cut) to the comm, or link back to it from wherever you choose to post it. (There is a collection on AO3.)

Min. word count 500 words. (No maximum). It's a low pressure fest, but please do ensure your fics are correctly formatted and spell-checked, and beta-ed if needed.

You are welcome to use your fic to double up for another challenge (e.g. bingos, prompt tables etc.), but do check that's okay with the other challenge's rules.

You MUST use a heading with rating, word count, any relevant warnings and all fics must be under a cut if posted directly to the comm.

You will need to join the comm to post. (If you're not on LJ, please contact the mod to arrange to make the link post to the comm for you.)

Please post on the date claimed or let the mod know if you won't be able to manage it. (Don't worry - rearranging a date shouldn't be a problem and there's no penalty for having to drop out. Real life eats us all at times.)

I will post a masterlist once the fest is over.

There's further contact info and a FAQ at the Introduction & Info post (if you can't comment/post on LJ, you can sign up & link to your fic that way & your mod will make the comm post for you) and a banner post for pimping purposes - please do promote the fest where you can!

And if you mean a fic with Lady Christina & Raine Creevy, that's very cool, but if you're deciding between the two, Raine is a non-TV companion and thus non-eligible here on her own. (Absolutely fine meeting/paired with a minor character or in a supporting role, of course.)

So nervously hoping that nobody claims April 1st...I have a third one I want to claim, though I know I can't yet, and the number of free dates is dwindling, and...I already wrote the story. *blushes*

Don't worry! More than one person can claim a date! It's nice to spread things out as much as possible, of course, but at this point, the last ten days or so are nicely busy already, so if you want to do a third fic (which is marvellous), you can still have any date you want for it.
